Enjoy the comeback of Pien Brewing! This beer is draft only, and can be found on tap at Pien Shop. This beer was brewed with drinkability in mind - using some of the nicest juicy hops on the market, and piling on plenty of bitterness to keep the balance.
Serving style recommendation: Couple of big snake-glasses. You deserve it. |

This is both our first Imperial Stout, and our first beer released to the public – a huge step for us! The recipe of BONESTORM includes a long boil and a double mash with loads of caramel malts & chocolate malts. The base is full of dark and sweet milk chocolate and caramel notes with some liquorice and a bit of roastiness. We love our stouts sweet – but not too sweet. Someone could call this a Pastry Stout, but we don’t.
We amplified the full base beer with 65g per litre of toasted and raw coconut. The oily coconut makes a perfect pair with the sweet base beer. We recommend drinking this stout at 10 – 15 °C to get the optimum experience. |

After the great feedback we got on our Thrillhouse Single Hop Citra IPA, we decided to use our improved knowledge of our brewing kit to brew a double version this flavor bomb.
Plenty of oats and wheat in the base & three different kinds of Citra gives this brew an exploding aroma and flavors of semi ripe mango, orange, strong grapefruit and a touch of dankness and overall leafy hoppiness.

IPA with Mosaic, Simcoe, El Dorado & Azacca
Dry and refreshing base with a bit lighter and more drinkable body. One of our favorite hop combos in the whirpool, Mosaic and Simcoe. Dry hopped after the fermentation with Mosaic, El Dorado and Azacca Lupoma at the rate of 16g/l. Expect notes of fresh pineapple, mango and blueberries. |

DIPA with Motueka, Citra Lupomax & Galaxy
Our lauter tun was pushed to its limit with 40% of oats in the grain bill. We think you can tell it. Soft and pillowy mouthfeel with a full body. Dry hopped twice : In the middle of the fermentation with Motueka and once the fermentation was done, we dry hopped it again with a big dose of Motueka, Citra Lupomax and Galaxy. Total dry hop rate is 22g/l.
A bit sweeter than our usual DIPAs, but it still finishes dry, so the drinkability is there. You can expect notes of creamy lime and pineapple. Semi-ripe mango and peach and pleasant earthiness. |

Our first TIPA is here! We loaded the whirlpool with huge amounts of Ekuanot Cryo and Mosaic Lupomax. The first charge of dry hops was added in the middle of the fermentation with Mosaic Lupomax, Citra and Simcoe. The second dose of dry hops went in after the fermentation, loads of Mosaic Lupomax and Simcoe to give the final touch of candied pineapple aromas - total of 30g/l of hops.
Expect aromas of candied pineapple, ripe orange and ripe stone fruits. |

Second round of our collaboration series with our dear friends at Olarin Panimo. All of the beers in this series uses the same hops, yeast and malt, but the ABV and brewery varies.
We added 27g/l of Mosaic Cryo, Nelson Sauvin and Enigma to compliment the Low Color Maris Otter - flaked oat - wheat malt base. The yeast in these beers is Verdant, which we used now for the first time.
Flavours send you to a heaven with oranges & mandarins, grapefruit zest and wild bilberry straight from the forest, with some heavy dankness delivered by both Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin.

Do you like Sabro? Well, then you're gonna like this beer. We squeezed every last drop of the aroma from this trending hop to let you enjoy it as it is intended. Some say it tastes like coconut, some find it more on the side of mint & fresh herbs. To balance the huge amount of Sabro we added Citra which counts for 25% of the dry hop.
Expect punchy aromas of fresh pineapple and mango with a bit of grapefruit notes. And a lot of Sabro. |

This beer was created to all the left handed people of the world*! Post a picture of some left handed drinking action on this beer and we promise to toast your check-in!
We added Citra and Simcoe in the whirlpool to create the fruity backbone, and then called hop soldiers: Simcoe, Cascade, Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo joined the party for dry hopping after fermenatation. These troopers are behind the complex aromas of honeydew, grapefruit, orange, pine, earthy woodiness and also some dankness, thanks to a small addition of Nelson Sauvin. Total of 19g/l of hops were used.
The boss behind the beer is the malt, Weyermann's Pilsner. This time we added Munich malt to create some depth to the malt base, but without being too heavy or sweet. We don't use caramalt in our West Coast IPA's for the sake of drinkability. We have noticed that this is a movement also amongst many the OG Californian IPA breweries.
WLP001 helped us with nice clean fermentation and we tweaked the water profile to promote the crisp and mineral foundation.

Milpool is a memory of a scalding day by the pool with the gentle caress of the summer breeze.
Milpool is a 8,3% hazy Double IPA hopped with Amarillo, Azacca & Motueka. We added 24 g/l of these US & New Zealand hops to give the full body heaps of fresh oranges, lime & melon aromas. In order to keep focus on the juiciness we dialed the bitterness quite low. With Milpool we concentrated on perfecting the balance between drinkability and a big body full of fresh fruit aromas.
You can buy this beer to-go from Brewpub in growlers and now also enjoy it from draft in Brewpub & Shop! Please note that there are less growlers available than previous releases. |

This is a monster. We love to drink lots of huge American IPA's, and this is our recreation of one. Bright yellow color, impenetrably hazy & lots and lots of quality American hops layered on in many different stages of brewing. Low bitterness - HUGE aroma. This is our kind of IPA.
First enjoy the generous green dankkkk aroma - then dive yourself into a realm of ripe orange, peach, strawberry & a medley of fresh tropical fruits.
I hope you liked the journey. We truly loved creating it.

We're through the looking glass here people!
Reverse Vampire is a 7,5% IPA, hopped with 16g/l of Simcoe and Mosaic Lupomax.
If you have ever tried Fazer Ananas or Fruit Drops hard candy - this is the liquid version. Expect aromas of fresh pineapple with some mild grassiness from Simcoe and foresty berriness and stone fruit from Mosaic. The body is dry and refreshing - it is too easy to indulge a few of these.
Just remember to stay out of the dark, and enjoy life! |

Hopped with Citra, Nelson Sauvin & Motueka at a total rate of 26g/l. Citra gives plenty of sweet mango and citrus notes, accompanied by a fresh kick of lime from Motueka and dank earthiness from Nelson.
It suddenly feels so real… This is the first beer we ever poured through a tap – such an exciting moment for us! ‘Snowball’ is our research & development series, where we launch our tiny test batches that we feel that turned out so good, that we want to share them with you!

Hopped with Amarillo & Talus at a total rate of 20g/l. Expect fresh orange and pineapple aromas, with some grapefruit zest and mild coconut.
A very small test batch of one of our upcoming house IPA’s. At 6%, we shot for extremely drinkable and juicy IPA, that focuses on soft and clean fruity aromas. The bitterness is soft and gentle, and no hop bite or burn to ensure that you can easily grab a pint or two.
We experimented with the new up and coming hop Talus. On it’s own, it can be a bit too much, so we paired it with Amarillo to give that nice orange citrus character. Talus is a daughter of Sabro, so you might get some of that Sabro-like coconut and minty aroma as well.
To see how powerful Talus really is, we only used 25% of Talus in the dry hop, and it still is very prominently noticeable. |

Snowball is our series of small research & development batches, which are available only for our dear Pienthusiasts.
With Snowball III we wanted to experiment with something new. We added a heaping amount of Mosaic hop in LUPOMAX™ form from Haas. LUPOMAX™ is a highly concentrated lupulin pellet that ensures maximum hop flavour with less actual plant materia. To compliment this intense fellow, we added some Citra in more traditional pellet form. |

A true West Coast IPA, in Pien style!
On the hot side we used Centennial, Columbus and Mosaic, then dry hopped it with Amarillo, Centennial, Columbus and Simcoe. Clean and crisp malt bill of Pilsner malt and a bit of Vienna is responsible for a dry and refreshing body.
Expect flavor balancing between resinous pine & tropical fruitiness. The color is bright and light yellow - just as West Coast should be! We didn’t skimp on the bitterness either - 100 IBU will keep your taste buds awake for sure.

Imperial Pastry Stout with Toasted Coconut and Vanilla from Papua New Guinea. This beer was created together with our dear Pienthusiasts!
The sweet chocolate and deep caramel notes from the base beer works perfectly with vanilla and coconut. We toasted the coconut only lightly to bring some toastiness, without losing the fresh coconut aroma. The vanilla from Papua New Guinea lends its beautiful caramel and floral vanilla notes to elevate this chocolaty pastry treat even further. The beer is served with very mild carbonation to showcase the thick and full body and the creamy mouthfeel.

Single hopped NEIPA with one of our favorite hops Citra. In order to showcase the full potential of the hop, we used 16 g/l of BBC & LupoMax -variants of Citra. Expect notes of fresh mango, grapefruit and some melon with just a touch of dankness. The heavy use of oats helps to deliver a smooth medium full body while keeping the base crisp and refreshing. We recommend serving the beer in around 6-8 °C.

It is time to put the Velocitator to the metal! Velocitator is our newest experiment, where we tested out some new dry-hopping techniques. We added 20g/l of Amarillo LupoMax, Nelson Sauvin & Hallertau Blanc, with a complex base of barley, oats & wheat.
The brew boasts an abundance of grapefruit, orange and mild melon aromas, backed up by grape and dankness notes from Nelson and Hallertau Blanc. |

NEIPA with 16g/l of Amarillo, Columbus and Mandarina Bavaria.
After wandering through the resinous pine forests of the west, we're back in the east!
Aromas of this juicy brew are dominated by juicy orange and zesty grapefruit, with mild dank and herbal notes in the background. Body is semi-dry and very drinkable with a bit higher bitterness than the usual Pien joose, clocking in at 50IBU.
"Yoink" is a verbal declaration that a transaction has taken place, frequently to the consternation of the party relinquishing the article. |
